HCA delivers Primary Healthcare services across Australia’s Immigration Detention Network (IDN). Our multidisciplinary teams provide comprehensive primary care services such as health assessments, chronic disease management, wound care, immunisations and health promotion.

We also operate a 24/7 Virtual Care Centre, delivering telehealth and video consultations to support and enhance onsite clinical services across the network.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Clinical Governance to lead the quality, safety, and clinical governance across Primary Health Services.

In this influential leadership role, you will drive the development and continuous improvement of governance frameworks that support the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You will oversee clinical risk, patient safety, quality improvement, accreditation, credentialling, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across a diverse healthcare network.

Working closely with clinicians, consumers, and executive leaders, you will champion a culture of learning, accountability, and excellence, using data and insights to strengthen clinical performance and improve patient outcomes.

You will be a senior healthcare leader with a relevant tertiary qualification, current AHPRA registration, and extensive experience leading clinical governance, quality, and patient safety initiatives within a complex healthcare environment.

You will bring a proven track record in accreditation, clinical risk and incident management, credentialling, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Your strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills will enable you to drive a culture of continuous improvement, strengthen clinical governance frameworks, and deliver measurable improvements in quality, safety, and patient outcomes.
