About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Manager, Market Access to join a high-performing team on a 12-month contract, with the potential to extend.
Reporting into a highly experienced Market Access leader, you'll take ownership of reimbursement activities across an established portfolio, leading PBAC submissions and partnering closely with Medical, Commercial, Pricing and Brand teams. The role also provides exposure to selected New Zealand reimbursement activities involving PHARMAC, offering broader regional experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working autonomously, building strong cross-functional relationships and contributing to a supportive, experienced team that values collaboration, flexibility and high-quality outcomes.
Note: This is a 12 month contract with the possibility of further extension.
Duties
- Lead the preparation and delivery of PBAC submissions.
- Manage reimbursement activities across an established portfolio of products.
- Support Market Access strategy for Australian and selected New Zealand assets.
- Partner with cross-functional Brand, Medical and Commercial teams.
- Assess reimbursement feasibility for pipeline and early-stage assets.
- Work closely with Pricing colleagues on reimbursement initiatives.
- Coordinate external vendors supporting submission development where appropriate.
- Contribute to ongoing Market Access planning and portfolio management.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated pharmaceutical Market Access experience.
- Proven experience preparing and leading PBAC submissions.
- Strong understanding of the Australian reimbursement environment.
- Experience working within cross-functional brand teams.
- Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Economics or a related discipline.
- Experience with PHARMAC or New Zealand reimbursement activities.
- Post graduate qualification in Health Economics, Market Access or related discipline.
