Senior Project Engineer - On Site Engineer (rotation or relocation with provided accommodation interstate)

Location: Melbourne/FIFO/DIDO- Interstate Project

Work on exciting renewable energy projects from conception through to commissioning/handover with one of Australia's largest EPCs

I am partnering with a client with a very strong project pipeline across HV infrastructure, renewable energy projects, and more. They have a strong name brand with proven excellence in delivering projects. With a long-standing history in the Australian market and strong industry relationships, they are a go to for their clients and partners.

The Senior Project Engineer will help deliver end-to-end HV infrastructure and utility-scale renewable energy projects. This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to join a highly qualified and capable project delivery team with a strong brand and name in the market across their project partners. This is a site based role with a rotation or site accommodation provided, so must be willing to work on site for the majority of the project & other projects across their industries including power, energy, infrastructure, utilities, water, & more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical engineering activities across the project life-cycle.
• Oversee design reviews, installation, commissioning, and compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Drive safety, quality, and environmental outcomes in line with company standards
• Provide technical expertise and mentor junior engineers.
• Be an on-site expert overseeing subcontractors and other on-site project partners

Your Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years experience in electrical engineering, project engineering, and HV project delivery
• Registered with Engineers Australia
• Experience on large scale complex infrastructure and renewable energy projects
• Site and project engineering experience with NSPs, coordination, multiple stakeholders, and sub contractors
• Experience with on site/construction EPC project delivery on HV infrastructure including transmission lines and substations (brownfield and greenfield)
• BESS OR Wind project delivery experience (highly desirable)
• Driver's license and ability to be on-site/travel to site-based locations across Australia
