$80,000–$95,000 FTE + Super (Pro Rata)

Equivalent to approximately $48,000–$57,000 + Super for a three-day week (max)

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and play an important role in delivering an exceptional client experience.

The Opportunity

This isn't your typical bookkeeping role.

You'll manage your own portfolio of clients and become a trusted part of their business. You'll help them stay organised, compliant and in control of their finances while working alongside our CFO and advisory team to deliver real value, not just reports.

You'll build relationships with business owners, solve problems, improve systems and genuinely make life easier for your clients.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries, including:

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
• Payroll processing and STP compliance
• BAS preparation and lodgement support
• Superannuation processing
• Month-end processing and management reporting
• Maintaining accurate financial records and journals
• Supporting cash flow management and financial reporting
• Working alongside our CFO team to deliver practical financial insights
• Responding to client queries and becoming their trusted finance contact
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, automation and client processes

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people just as much as numbers.

You'll ideally have:

• 3+ years' bookkeeping experience
• Strong Xero experience (essential)
• Experience managing payroll and STP
• Experience preparing BAS
• Excellent reconciliation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Great communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence working directly with business owners
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
• A desire to continually improve systems and processes
• Curious about AI, automation and modern technology, with a willingness to learn and adopt new ways of working.
