Senior Banking/Finance Lawyer

We are working with a leading Australian law firm based in Perth for a Senior Lawyer to join their Banking/Finance team.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Banking & Projects team, advising major Australian and international lenders, borrowers, sponsors and investors on complex, high-value financing transactions. The team has particular expertise across the mining, energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors.

The role will involve advising on leveraged and acquisition finance, project finance, corporate lending and real estate finance, alongside complex financing structures, derivatives and offtake arrangements. The successful candidate will take significant responsibility for drafting and negotiating finance documentation, managing transaction workstreams, and advising clients on complex financing structures.

Essential Criteria

• 4+ years’ PQE;
• Strong banking/finance background;
• Experience liaising with clients;
• Strong team player;
• Commercial awareness;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Technically excellent.
