Commercial Litigation - Senior Associate

We are currently working with a well-regarded mid-tier law firm in Melbourne that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate to join its growing Commercial Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded litigator who is looking for quality work, genuine autonomy, strong client exposure and a supportive team environment.

About You

Ideally, you will have:

• 5+ years' post admission experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
• Strong technical litigation and dispute resolution skills
• Experience managing matters autonomously from start to finish
• Experience across areas such as contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, insolvency related matters, debt recovery and general commercial disputes
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• An interest in business development and developing your own professional network
• A genuine willingness to mentor and support junior lawyers

You'll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively but is equally comfortable taking ownership of your matters and dealing directly with clients.

The opportunity

You will work across a broad range of complex commercial disputes and litigation matters, acting for private businesses, corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals.

The Role Will Provide You With:

• A diverse commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice
• Significant client contact and autonomy in managing matters
• Exposure to complex disputes across courts, tribunals and ADR forums
